Egaku

I have recently donated a print of my "From Out of Town' image to EGAKU, which is an event helping to raise money for the earthquake and tsunami relief effort in Japan. The Event will take place on Sunday 3rd April at Jaguar Shoes, London. If you get a chance to drop by they'll be some great work there, and 100% of the profits will go to a very important cause.

It's great to work with the people at Tiny Showcase again. They have produced a screen printed version of my "Try, Try, Try... & Try Again" image. Copies of the print are available here. A portion of the profits are donated to "The Christie" cancer charity.

A Private Detective

I've started work on a fold out book, which tells the story of a private detective tracking an illusive character, with a suspicious looking brief-case. I hope to complete this in the near future, so watch this space!

This image was commended at the Cheltenham Illustration awards, "Travellers Tales" competition. It depicts the journey of alcohol smugglers through the mountains during the prohibition in America. The idea developed from my research into periods of American history and 'Americana' in general.

Work inspired by American fire-watchmen of the early 1900's. Being posted on the highest points of the wilderness, fire-watchmen often lived a lonely life, guarding the surrounding areas from potential wild fire.

I haven't posted anything in a very long time now, but I have been working hard. Here is some of my newest work, and hopefully I won't fall behind on the updating again!

The first few images are taken from the "Across the Way" show at the Here Gallery, Bristol, quite a while back now. my work was based on differing approaches to hunting.

A piece of work I did quite a while back now has found it's way into Gestalten's new publication Data Flow 2. My work referenced the aesthetic of a circuit diagram to describe communication within industry. A complete circuit making for effective communication!

Tigers That Talked

An animated music video that myself and Jack Hudson have been working on for the band 'Tigers That Talked'. The song is titled 'Artificial Clouds', Released October 2009 on Bad Sneakers Records. The track is taken from their forthcoming album The Merchant, released 2010 and produced by Adam Noble.

There are a couple of technical issues with the upload at the moment, so our pardons for any glitches!
